Rusty Acorn Letterbox
ESTABLISHED: September 30, 2001
CLUE DIFFICULTY: Moderate
TERRAIN: Easy
STATUS: This box was in place as of Sept. 2003.  I put a new logbook in it, since the old one got soaked. The trails can be muddy; wear appropriate footwear and bring bug juice!

This mystery letterbox is located in a peaceful wildlife sanctuary in western Massachusetts named after a region in ancient Greece.

Pick up a trail map and choose your trail wisely.  Here are two hints: 1) a baby is young, but its grandparents are _ _ _; 2) on an airplane, some passengers travel first class, but most travel _ _ _ _ _.

Hike on this trail until you come to a graveyard of rusted automobiles.  Continue hiking.  Further on, three tall oak trees stand guard over another piece of rusted refuse, which shelters the Rusty Acorn Letterbox.

Random Notes: This sanctuary is open dawn to dusk year-round; closed on Mondays, except Monday holidays.  No pets allowed.  Depending on the return route you choose, the hike will take 45-60 minutes round trip.
